My fourth and final conference talk of 2019. I'm pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish over the course of just one year of speaking at conferences, especially since I'm deathly afraid of public speaking.
This was a 30-minute talk that I gave at iOSDevUK in beautiful Aberystwyth, UK. It was also the first time I gave a talk other than a variation of my interviewing talk. The title of this one was "CloudKit for Fun and Profit".
I was really happy with this talk because I got to play with a different way of presenting the information — I told a fictional story about a developer pursuing his passion for snacks by creating a snack tracker for the office. The format went over really well and it's something that I'd like to try again.
This was also my first talk that was more technical in nature. Or at least, it was more directly about software development than about things like interviewing.
This talk was not recorded, unfortunately.
